PABELS

'Nowadays it's rare to find a DJ who succeeds internationally just by his skills behind the decks'

This is the case of Pabels (Buenos Aires, Argentina), who by his abilities as a digger and DJ has garnered worldwide praise.

His unique selections and great energy behind the decks brought him to play in venues and festivals such as Calvi On The Rocks (France), Mareh Festival (Brasil), Gop Tun, Sunday Sunday, Garbicz Festival, Bordeaux Open Air, Output (NYC), Pikes (Ibiza), Le Bain (NYC), Amores Experience (Mexico), Floyd (Miami), Lollapalooza (Buenos Aires); and sharing the decks with artists like Nightmares On Wax, Sadar Bahar, Folamour, Chez Damier, Sassy J, David Vunk, Kalabrese, DJ Assault, Gop Tun, Mendel, amongst others. Big part of his ascension in popularity can be attributed to his 'Day Mix' series, which garnered hundreds of thousands of streams in different platforms (mostly SoundCloud) with its unique mixture of genres: House, Disco, Balearic, Afrobeat, Soul and Hip Hop blend for a new creation reminiscent of Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz and the Cafe Del Mar compilations.

Also, in the recent past he has established himself as a prominent figure in the local scene in Argentina by different performances in the music field. In the first place, through the creation of his two event series: Linea Caliente, an underground look into the balearic house sound; and Bonaire, a 'hedonist assembly' (or 'Asamblea Hedonista') that is today the biggest exponent of the house and disco scene in the country. Furthermore, he performed at clubs and events such as Primavera Sound BA, Lollapalooza BA, Defected Buenos Aires, Collage Festival, The Bow, Crobar, Las Palapas (Mendoza), and many more. And lastly, he's been working as the music director for Las Casitas of Lollapalooza BA since 2019, where he showcases the best of the local and regional underground scene.
